linky links

I've finally put together a before & after on our bedhead but blogger isn't playing nicely with the images so that's another task for the weekend. Instead, here is some good stuff I've enjoyed around the internet in the past week (or so).

Vinyl Chair Makeover by Leni and Rose

Brilliant work! Take one yicky, sticky vinyl chair and reupholster with Swiss Army Blankets. Love this SO much. Visit Leni and Rose here for all the details.

Portlandia - Put A Bird On It

Originally I saw this on Design*Sponge last week and I've watched it many, many times since. Thanks! That's fantastic!

Sneak Peek - John & Vivian of Square Feet Studio

I wouldn't normally reblog content from a large design blog as I figure anyone who reads this blog would most definitely be reading the likes of Design*Sponge. Also, when I used to blog for Apartment Therapy and would read about 1,000 blogs a day, it was annoying to see the same content on every second blog. BUT when I saw this I felt like I'd seen my "grown up" home. This picture in particular- wowzers, the wallpapered ceiling!! See more here.

Marc Johns - His Eyebrows Looked Like Arms
Hehehe, there are a handful of men that immediately came to mind when I saw this drawing. I don't think I could get away with buying this for any of them. See more of Marc Johns work here.

Emily Green's New Pastel Brooches

Remember Emily Green from the Craft Hatch Guest Blog? I love her work so much that I wasn't even able to finish formatting the feature on her without buying one of her amazing brooches. She's just released a range of pastel brooches and while I didn't think it was possible, I'm even more in love with Emily Green. Buy one of everything on Emily's Etsy store here. [Also, her blog has just moooved]

Designers and Books

This is brilliant! When I finally get into the piles of books I currently have to read, I'll be buying the next pile thanks to this website.

Anyway, that's what I've been enjoying around the interwebs- what on your linky links list this week?
